When making a call on my iphone11 I cannot stop the call or end the call as there is no red cancel button. Just the green call button. I have to physically shut my phone down and restart it to clear the call . When is Apple going to fix this

Unless you are actively on a call, there will be no cancel button.
If you are actively on a call, then there should be a red end call button, but it can be obscured if you have the dilated opened. You can tap on "Hide" on the dial pad to hide it and reveal the call options during a call.
Also, if you are outside the phone app during a call, you need to open the phone app to see the end call button.
If there's only a green call button, it means there is no active call, so nothing to end. But you can place a call by tapping on the green call button.
During an active call;, there would be no green call button, and only a red cancel button for the active call.
If the Call screen is not displayed tap on the phone icon in the dynamic island to go back to the Phone screen with the red button. Or say “Siri, hang up”. Or press the Side button.

My husband also has the iPhone 11 and his does the exact same thing. Cannot end a call as there is no red button to press.
