After receiving my iPhone 15 Pro, I was surprised to learn there is no 'DECLINE' red button on the lock screen when I get an incoming call. Clicking a side button, three times in rapid succession, is a rather awkward affair in a lot of circumstances. Does anyone know if there are plans to change this?

This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple participates, nor reads for user feedback. We have no knowledge of anything Apple has planned for future releases.
But to your point, it's not necessary to tap the side button three times. If you tap it once, it mutes the phone from ringing. If you tap it twice, it sends the call to voicemail. You do NOT have to tap anything thrice.

You have posted to a user-to-user site. We are all users here......just like you.
As such, no one here would have any idea about what Apple might be planning......and Apple never tips their hand on things like this.
