Cannot stop Apple Watch series 10 playing apple music

Everytime use I Car Play or my iphone to play apple music, my Apple watch (series 10) opens the music app and starts playing. This drains my battery and is very annoying

Both watch and iphone are up-to-date.

I have gone to general > Auto -Launch but do not have a "Auto-Launch Audio Apps" toggle. I have a "live activities setting" toggle which is turned off. it is as follows;
