High CPU usage from multiple sources.

I keep having high CPU usage whenever I use my MacBook. This includes all of these: kernel_task, searchpartyd, systemprofiler, pmset, and mobileassetd. Some of these are also showing up in my crash reports. They are using 60%-100% or more (how??) of my CPU now and then and cause my MacBook to overheat.

Macbook Air CPU usage issue I have a 2024 MacBook Air M3 and have recently been experiencing issues with my laptop heating up, running slowly, and losing battery very quickly. I checked the activity monitor and it says that 'xagt' is at ~297% CPU. I tried restarting my laptop and it seemed to be fixed, it cooled down and the activity monitor didn't show anything taking up a lot of CPU %. Help with macbook Pro overheating / short battery life (Etrecheck report attached) So I have freed up a ton of storage on my MacBook but it is still constantly overheating and can't keep a charge. Could you please check what these strange processes are? mdworker_shared is using up a ton of CPU.

Random High CPU Load occurrence is slowing down the Mac. Hi, In my MacBookPro Intel 2020 there is an issue that I am unable to resolve. Sometimes all of a sudden the Mac totally slows down. Every activity from browsing the web to navigating the Finder is effected. The Activity Monitor shows that the CPU Load is extremely high. Eg. the kernel_task is having a value of around 730%. I tried restarting the Mac, then updating the OS (macOS 12.6.5), but it didn’t help. This problem used to occur sporadically at first but now it is happening more regularly. Idle is using a massive amount of CPU, going over 90% a lot of the time
