I have the latest iMac. I went looking for editing features in Photo Booth but it's only got those effects that distort your face into silly ugly shapes. As a lady of a certain age I want smoothing or beautifying features. I'm sure Apple's got them...where are they?!?!

Making sillier is way, way easier than making younger! Your post inspired me to try using Clean Up in the Photos app to remove wrinkles, and it works-- but I don't see it as a whopping improvement. You can look around in the App store, maybe "portrait retouch"-- I saw something for $20/month, and another that charges by the picture, more than $1 each. Good Luck with that!

In the Photos app, yes. The editing tools there can do good things, removing spots, improving lighting, and so on-- but they stop short of turning people into plastic perfections.

It's ok. forget it. Problem solved. You access Clean Up on the photo itself, not in Photo Booth.
The app hasn't yet been developed that could turn my face into plastic perfection.
