Device will not response to touch

Son’s iphone is not working correctly. His last update was a couple of days ago. It was working normally up until a few hours ago.

It’s like it is frozen or jamed. If he types a word out it will type something else.

Please perform a Forced Restart procedure as shown below, that should fix any software issues you may be having. Be sure to perform it quickly, and ignore the slider that appears midway.


  • Press and quickly release the volume up button
  • Press and quickly release the volume down button
  • Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple Logo
