Kernel Task Using High CPU Unreasonably

My Mac suddenly started lagging without any clear reason. When I checked Activity Monitor, I found that the kernel_task process was consuming a significant amount of CPU, even though my MacBook Pro was cool and I wasn’t running any heavy tasks.

I have tried everything, including: • Reinstalling macOS (completely wiping all my data) • Resetting SMC and NVRAM • Checking and cleaning the fans (they were already clear). even the safe mode didn't fix it, apple diagnostics and EnterCheckPro show no issue.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. The strange part is that it appears randomly—sometimes lasting for days, then disappearing for a while before returning.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
