How to clean my charging port without damaging it

how can i clean my charging port. water entered 2 days ago. i left to dry but it has been slow charging since then

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 18

Water damage is often permanent and completely unrepairable. If water got in the charging port, there is no way to "clean" it. And it could get worse for you over time. Make sure you have your phone backed up. Then schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. Be advised Apple won't attempt repairs on a water damaged iPhone.
