Microphone issues on Apple Watch

I can answer calls but the microphone doesn’t work correctly. People can hear me but I can’t hear them. Yes the volume is turned up. The mic icon has a line through it. Tapping on it to highlight it doesn’t help. Can you?

Did you try to force restart your watch by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?


If this does not work, unpairing the watch and setting it up as a new device, would be the next step:
