Stickers in my Emoji keyboard on other apps, but not iMessage!

so, like a lot of people, i am incredibly annoyed by the sudden inclusion of stickers into the emoji keyboard on my iphone. it messes up my recently used emojis, it looks awful, and i often press them by accident which causes them to remain in my recently used emojis.

i have this toggled off. it works on imessages and safari, but on other apps like discord, instagram, and even my notes app, the stickers appear.

is there any way to remove them permanently? i have tried removing my emoji keyboard entirely and restarting my phone, but the problem persists. please help!

and, in case the same issue happens in this thread, i want to state explicitly that i am not trying to permanently delete the stickers or memoji features, i just want them off of my keyboard in every app!
