My Cochlear Implant Nucleus 7 device doesn't pair with my IPhone 16 Pro

I have paired my cochlear nucleus 7 (N7) with my previous phone, Samsung Galaxy A52 and been using it for more than a year without any issues. It was convenient and was so helpful with my studies.

Now, a week ago, I've just purchased iPhone 16 pro and I've been trying to pair with my N7 and it doesn't even show up on the accessibility. Yes I've unpaired with my old phone and even uninstalled the Nucleus Smart App and installed again on my new i16 pro. I've followed the given guide on the app which I must turn off and turn on my N7 and it should display in the accessibility but it never ever showed up.

How can I get this pair with my N7? is it because of the new IOS version?

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18

You may need to check if the sound processor requires a firmware update for compatibility with the newer software on the iPhone 16, which may also need the newest available iOS software version update. (It is always wise to back-up an iPhone first, if you want to update it.) See Settings > General > Software Updates to check.

To check if a firmware update is available or needed: you could check in the app, or in the manual for the sound processor, or the manufacturer's support website or with your hearing professional.
