Siri Where Are You Feature

What does it do instead? I just tried on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it no longer says the uh-huh but rather the Apple Intelligence Siri noise, then responds with “Here I am!” Still works though.

If Siri isn’t speaking aloud, first make sure you have Spoken Responses turned on in Settings > Apple Intelligence and Siri > Siri Responses.

If Siri isn’t responding to you, go back to Apple Intelligence and Siri > Talk and Type to Siri > Select off then back on. You will be given a set of prompts to read to get Siri to better respond to your voice.

Why do you wait for Siri to say “uh huh”? Say the whole phrase without waiting. It has been several years since you had to wait for Siri to respond to its name before completing the request.
