Apple Watch won't turn on after swimming and charging

My apple watch won't turn on anymore after swimming. left it to charge and still nothing. what to do? Went for swimming around 30 minutes and when I came out of the pool the screen was black, tried to turn it on, nothing. Later on when I tried again, it was showing low battery. I put it to charge but then nothing again.
