Downgrading from IOS18.4 public beta to the latest non-beta IOS version

I upgraded my iPhone to version 18.4 beta EU to test Apple Intelligence in Italy, but now I would like to downgrade to the latest stable non-beta version. The problem is that I only have one backup and it was made in the 18.4 beta version: is there a way to go back to the latest non-beta version without losing all the data and restore it from the backup even though it was made in the beta version?

Thank you

iPhone 16, iOS 18

sorry but that is incorrect. you can always restore to a previous version by doing a factory reset and restoring to a previous version. you will need to connect your phone to your mac. you will need to enter recovery mode in your phone once by pressings the up volume and release, press down volume and release and finally press and hold power button until you see the recovery mode and then from your mac do a restore.
