GarageBand not recording violin with Shure SM7b microphone on BabyFace Pro Fs

Hi, I have a BabyFace Pro Fs, I connect the Shure Sm7b microphone via xlr in the first channel and when I record in Garage Band the voice is heard, but the violin or any instrument considers it as noise and does not record it, what am I doing wrong?
