Should I upgrade to iPhone 16e for better battery life or keep my iPhone SE 2020?

I really love my iPhone SE 2020 2nd gen but the battery capacity is at 74% after using it for a little over 3 years. I am thinking of upgrading to iPhone 16e because its the only iPhone that doesn't have to many cameras but I hate how big it is compared to my current iPhone. I am wondering if I should keep my iPhone SE 2020 for another year or however long it lasts or if I should just buy the new iPhone 16e because it has much better battery life. What should I do?

You will easily get 2-3 years or more of additional use by replacing the battery in your SE 2 at the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop.....and.....you may also be amazed at how much faster your phone seems to operate.

Hello!

The iPhone SE 2nd Gen. is still supported. Why don't you just get a new battery? It may be (barely?) cheaper than buying a new iPhone. You could certainly look into it, anyhow. Check this out: iPhone Battery Replacement - Apple Support. You can enter your iPhone's info and get a quote.

For an SE 2 (2020) the cost to replace the battery is $69US + Taxes.

Well worth it for now I think.

But yes, the 16e will be major upgrade in many respects from the iPhone SE, beyond the battery life.
