Was financing device through Verizon and just completed a AIG theft and loss claim have replacement phone but it’s showing a carrier sim lock which is absolutely not Verizon per Verizon store associate HELP

What I’m wondering is whether the refurb from AIG was erroneously carrier-locked to some other carrier. That’s a discussion with AIG or Verizon (or both), depending on who is the point of contact for the replacement insurance.
