Which carrier is my iPhone locked to?

Subject: Request for Carrier Lock Information – IMEI 35 ***48 1

Dear Apple Support Team,

I hope you are doing well. I recently purchased a used iPhoneand would like to confirm which carrier it is locked to. Unfortunately, I do not have this information, and I am unable to use my preferred SIM card.

Here are the details of my device:

• Model: iPhone 15 Pro Max

• IMEI: 35 ***48 1

• Serial Number GX***VNJ

I would appreciate it if you could provide details regarding the carrier lock status of my device. If there are any additional steps required from my side, please let me know.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Ali

This is a user to user forum, no one here or at Apple would know what carrier your phone is locked to. Contact the person you bought it from and ask them or -

Go to Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock. It should show what carrier the phone is locked to.

The truth is that even if you are able to identify the carrier it is locked to, it is unlikely they will remove the lock. The lock may be due to the previous owner's contractual agreement with the cell provider and they are not going to give you any of those details for privacy reasons. Your cellular provider will unlike your phone when you are a customer and have met the obligations you have agreed to, but that is not likely going to happen for a phone you had purchased.
