unable to access Apple store on iPad since 18.3.1

As of yesterday morning the Apple store is unavailable on my daughters ipad meaning that apps on there will not update, namely Roblox (argh).

I have tried turning it off and on, updating security and checking to see if there are other updates but it remains an issue. It is connected to the internet and other apps work fully and i have tried it on different networks but it just comes up saying that Apple Store is "temporarily unavailable". this has been well over 24 hours at least.

Is anyone else having the same issue? or has any idea of what i can do?
