Play Roland drums TD 27 in GarageBand (hi hat issue)

Hi I have been trying to use the Roland TD27 drum set in GarageBand as soon as I connected the MIDI and USB adaptor I was able to play. Every drum and splash was automatically working...... but the hi hat, it works but as if it was always open and it doesn't read the rim hits just the head hits even if it is open or closed.

I have adjusted sensitivity from the TD27 system > trigger as well as System > MIDI options and nothing changes. Funny thing is that the hi hat works good if I am using the drum set head phones but at the same if I swith to MIDI headphones Hi hat is not working properly. Do you think is the module sending the wrong set up to MIDI or MIDI not interpreting the info properly

I haven't tried changing GB MIDI settings.
