Unable to find the "Select All" delete option for voicemails on iPhone

In all previous answers it stated to go to; “Edit and on the “right side; click on…”! Well, on my iPhone, on the Right side it says GREETING…. On the Left side it says, EDIT… when you click on Edit; at the top; it reads “DONE” on the Left. The word VOICEMAIL, and, below that are little circles next to each message, BUT,

At the very bottom of the screen, in very light gray on the left side it reads, “Mark as Read” & on the right, “Delete”

There is NO button to click on that reads “SELECT ALL” ( to delete). WHY?

Some of the following links which are relevant to your query may help you:

  1. Questions directed to Apple Inc Product Feedback - Apple
  2. Suggestions and Feedback for improvements --> Apple Inc says; "We read all feedback carefully, but we are unable to respond to each submission individually."
    1. Here is how for iPhone · Country or region* Select your country or region. · Feedback Type* Select feedback type. · Comments* Enter a comment.
    2. Feedback - iPhone - Apple

No one here on this user to user only forum can answer "why" questions, because no one here works for Apple or had anything to do with how Apple designed anything to work. We can guess however, and if I were to guess, there is no delete all for voicemail messages because people would likely be upset if they accidentally deleted all voicemail messages. It is purposeful when you delete a voicemail, meaning you looked at the message and you made the decision to remove it. Deleting ALL at once, could cause pain for people who wanted to hold onto a message that had personal significance to them. Again, that's my guess, but you'd have to ask Apple. Suffice to say that in all these years of iPhone, there has never, to my knowledge, been a delete all option for voicemail messages. There isn't a delete all option for text messages either, and likely for the same reason.
