here's an imac douzy of a problem

Bought a 2019 imac used from a reputable company. Started up fine. Upgraded it to Sequoia from Catalina. Now here's where I stand:

Started up normally with keyboard and mouse. Very slow even with catalina..

Started up again. Fan started blowing. Would not regcognize peripherals (keyboard & Mouse.)

Tried to start up and it died. Moved it to new area. Plugged it back in. Black. Held down the Power button. Nothing. Plugged it into my old computer. stilll nothing.

Any other ideas before I kick it to the curb???

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

If it's a reputable company they should have a warranty period - return it.

Thanks. They do have a warranty and a return policy. Unfortunately, because it's been 15 days and worked about two of those days, the return doesn't work (14 days). Anyway, there is a warranty. The other catch is I can't start it up to get my stuff off it and they want my cloud shut off. I can't get to it! ugh!

This Company (sure you call know them) used to have an impeccable reputation. They have a phone number now, but it only gives you their email address to contact them. I just did. You can't talk to anyone anymore!! Sad
