Apple Watch heart rate sensor leaving temporary mark on wrist

My apple watch's Heart rate sensor is leaving a temporary mark on my wrist. I don’t know if that's normal. it doesn't hurt, or cause discomfort. I have a series 7.

Your watch may need to be cleaned.

Or you may have developed a sensitivity/allergy to the watch's materials or the LED lights on the underside. You could consult a dermatologist about this possibility.
