Wrist temperature sensor isn't working.

My Apple Watch SE 3 wrist temperature sensor isn't working. It's been a month since I got it, it fits correctly, sleep schedule is set up correctly, and all other vitals are working just fine. I looked for things that could be disabling it. but when I open privacy only heart and respiratory rate show up. I couldn't find anything online, and the issue didn't come up as an option for apple support. What is going on? Is it damaged?
