iPhone Xs has troubles showing "No Internet Connection", and there isn't.

My wife has an iPhone Xs and I have an X. She often has problems with her phone telling her it has no internet connection and in fact it does not. Pages will load, but the images and details will not. At the same time in the same location my X works fine as does our iPad 6 running 18.3.1. My phone is running 16.7.10 and her phone is running 18.3, both the newest each model allows. She can clear the problem with a reboot, but it occurs again, sometimes in a few days, sometimes more and occasionally immediately after the reboot. Our current router is an TP Link 5260, recently installed but her problem existed prior to the replacement. Our ISP is our cable company, Spectrum.

My wife just informed me that she has no internet connection agin. Apparently the suggested password erasure wasn't the answer.

There’s actually more than one reason that Wi-Fi may not connect. Here are a few of the ways:

  • Here is a general answer→If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support. If that doesn’t resolve the problem you will have to provide a lot more information, including, among other things:
  • All networks, or one specific network?
  • Is it a secured network, or open network?
  • What is the message when you try to connect?
  • Does the network have MAC filtering enabled (aka Access Control)?
  • Do you control the network, or is it someone else’s network? If you control it, restart your router by removing all power for about 15 seconds.
  • Do you have Private Address enabled for the network?
  • What other troubleshooting have you done?
  • Do you have VPN installed? Try uninstalling it and its profile.

Further updates on this topic~

I discovered that in fact the problem exists with ALL sites, not just the use of Apple News. The wifi arches are visible but during use, she gets the notice of no wifi and none of the pages reload. I am sitting right next to her but using an iPhone X and have no problems at all. As always, a reboot clears the problem, but only util it decided to appear again. I've tried the suggestions as brought by Laurence Finch but with no luck (I can't account for my responses appearing as NamVet69-70 either!)

Frustrating to say the least.
