Edit Function Photos IOS18, Where?

The place you tap to enter edit mode in iOS 18 looks like three horizontal lines with small circles on them (think adjustment slider knobs). This icon is located just right of center below the viewed image, next to the heart for "favorite" and the "i" in a circle for "info".

Is that the "Edit Function" you sought, or were you looking for something deeper?

Just to supplement markwmsn's description, the edit icon,

is supposed to make us think of the sliders

that we see in other editing tools,

and like on Mac Photos.
