MacBook Pro 14" M3 battery degradation for 5% after 6 months of used

I see my MacBook Pro 14" M3 battery degradation for 5% after only 30 cycles.

I have been cautious with my computers' battery health ever since the health features on computers came out. I follow the instructions of charging at 20% and ending charging at 80%, using only the official charger, provided with the device. I have a gaming Laptop from ASUS that is only at 88% after 4 years of use, so it surprised me that my M3 MBP, after 30 cycles in 6 months, is at 95% health.

Is this normal? Or should I be concerned? If this trend continues by the year and a half, it would be at 85% health. I always keep my MBP plugged in and only let it drain once or twice per week to 20% hence the 30 cycles in 6 months. It is just baffling to me since I use my iPhone more on a daily basis and it is only at 95% after 2 years.

seems normal. I would not fret over it.

No one said it is a linear progression downward.

Here you see BHM notice ~1 yr the Battery health has increased over time see col.2, battery cycles col.5

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
