Yellow Screen Issue After iOS 18.3.1 Update – iPhone 13 Pro
Hello,
I am experiencing the yellow screen issue that many other iPhone 13 Pro users have reported. My device, purchased in May 2022, has been kept in perfect condition—no drops, water damage, or any other physical issues.
Issue Description:
Yesterday, immediately after upgrading to iOS 18.3.1, my screen suddenly turned a solid yellow-green color, making the device unusable. I have tried force restarting, connecting to a Mac for diagnostics, and even attempting to enter DFU mode, but the issue persists.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
• Force Restart → No improvement, screen remains yellow-green.
• Connected to Mac (Finder) → Device is detected, but the screen does not respond.
• DFU Restore Attempt → Unable to interact due to the display issue.
Apple’s Responsibility & Request for Assistance:
Considering that this issue arose immediately after an official iOS update, I believe it is a software-related defect or a known hardware fault triggered by the update. Given that numerous users have reported similar problems, Apple should acknowledge this as a widespread manufacturing or software defect and offer appropriate repair or replacement options, even for devices out of warranty.
I kindly request an official response from Apple regarding this issue and assistance in resolving this problem without additional costs, as my device was in perfect working order before this update.
Has Apple recognized this as a known issue, and will there be an official solution soon?
Thank you for your time and support.
