Issues since updating iOS 18.3.1

I have a 12 pro max and refuse to buy a new model until there’s a noticeable improvement and new technology. I recently updated my iOS to 18.3.1 and now my signal is back to LTE instead of 5G. My messages won’t go through the first time and usually take 5+ attempts. My phone constantly over heats and will not charge past 80%. I can barely hear my speakers and it’s not a cleaning issue or the first time this has happened with an update and my sound compromised. I know it’s a iOS issue because the last time it happened it went away once I updated my phone and I could hear it just fine again.

iHuman ~ Your iPhone 12 Pro Max could be 4½ years old and the long process of applying an iOS update to an iPhone with a weak, aging battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." Also, overheating, particularly whilst charging, is often a sign of a battery issue. So...

Does your iPhone 12 Pro Max still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

Thus far, it's iOS 18.3.1's fault. My 15 Pro Max phone is overheating. The battery is dropping super fast, even why I hardly use my phone at all.

Apps are locking up, when I go to the camera, sometimes it just shows a black screen and the shutter doesn't work.

This is by far one of the worst iOS updates in a very long time.

My phone isn't jailbroken.
