What should I do if my iPhone Silent mode switch/Volume button is unresponsive?

My bottom volume button to turn down the volume stopped working a bit ago. I cleaned it, reset my phone and everything it just completely stopped. Then my silent mode switch is flipping it isn't stuck or anything but It won't go to silent mode I took my case off, cleaned it, rest my phone, updated it and nothing works.
