Why is Netflix not displaying 4K on my Apple TV?

I Just bought an Apple TV 4K 3rd Generation (MN873X/A) and when I played Spider man: into the spider verse on Netflix, it’s shown that it’s playing on HD quality despite Netflix having the 4K resolution. Furthermore, I couldn’t see the Spatial Audio support in Batman begins.

The equipment I’m using:

1.Sony KD-75X8000H TV

2.Bose smart ultra soundbar + 2 Boss bass module 700 + Bose surround speakers

3. Apple TV 3rd generation ( MN873X/A )

4.Belkin UltraHD High Speed 4K / 8K HDMI cable

5. Netflix Premium subscription

How I set up is;

HDMI 1 is connected to Apple TV and HDMI 3 (ARC) is connected to the soundbar. I tested the internet Speedtest and it was 60Mbps download and 19Mbps Upload ( according to Google minimum speed require for Netflix 4K is 25 Mbps) which is more than enough for 4K streaming.

Could anyone please help me fix this issue ?

Issue has been resolved.

I had to log into Netflix -> go to account management -> select profiles -> select the profile i want -> select playback settings -> set to High on Data usage per screen -> press save -> restart the apple tv.

( I don't know how to edit my original post so gonna post the solution here)

I don’t believe such an option exists on the Netflix app on Apple TV. You may want check in case you are viewing some info that is unrelated.

If it is verified to be Netflix then contrast with other platforms on Apple TV best to see if this is isolated to Netflix and if so contact their support.
