There is no flaw here. This is the way this is deigned to work, being anyone could get your information after a reset. So, restore your iPhone from a backup, if you want to get this all back. If you never created a backup, then take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a backup of your iPhone every-so-often, to prevent loss of data.

2. As it Reads: "If you reset your device with these steps, the process erases the data currently on your iPhone. After you reset your device, you can restore your iPhone from a backup if you previously created one."

Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what their customers prefer and what features need to be added. Apple will know nothing of your ideas, if you don't provide them to them.
