Apple Vision Pro Eye Tracking poor accuracy

I have never been happy with the eye tracking on AVP. I routinely repeat the eye setup; often every time I put it on. Tracking has been bad since it was new but it seems worse with the latest OS version, although it has always been bad so we are talking degrees of awful here.

Sometimes immediately after I redo eye setup it is quite accurate for a short time. But even without ever taking AVP off the tracking drifts right. The keyboard is a good metric because it has so many elements that are so close together. AVP calibration VERY quickly drifts such that I have to look at the character directly to the left of the character I want to enter e.g. if I want an ‘F’ I have to look at the ‘D’.

Safari is all but unusable as it is impossible to select the various control buttons.

I am left eye dominant and can’t help but think things would be better if I changed the setting to only track one eye. But it also seems like I shouldn’t have to do this.

Anyone have advice on this?
