loudspeaker goes off automatically

hi, anyone who can help me out?

I’m using iPhone 14 Pro Max and ever since 18.3 update (currently using 18.3.1), my loudspeaker gets off. I use loudspeaker when I talk on the messenger (WhatsApp, telegram and so on). And it’s not specific to any messenger. Always in the middle of no where, sound comes through the phone’s earpiece. Every time I have to switch back to the loudspeaker. This is happening from the 18.3 update. Apple, please fix it.

I found some more specifics.

Today I switched off Bluetooth. Then I couldn’t even switch on loudspeaker for telegram, WhatsApp and so on. Afterwards, when Bluetooth was turned on, speaker function came back. Then I found out whenever I go out of the my watch’s range, the loudspeaker goes off. I normally take off watch at home and while talking on the phone, I walk around the house. That’s why Watch gets keep disconnected and connected. But this loudspeaker problem is since 18.3 update. I never had this problem before.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

Thanks for the contribution.

My phone isn’t jailbroken. It’s as it is from the box. Maybe it wasn’t fair to blame the update but my past several experiences say so. Nearly every big update, users had a similar problem I had. Once apple blocked the app tracking, at another time it was the tinted icon problem. When tint was applied, in dark mode, a widget was invisible. Anyway, I’m not pointing to blame but to elaborate the bugs so that Apple fixes it. Because apparently, before and after this update, I didn’t change any settings, I didn’t download any new apps. It’s as it is except the iOs update. And all the messengers I’m using aren’t from the same company.

Hope anyone else can help.
