Unable to connect to Wi-Fi on my iPhone 14 Pro Max

My iPhone 14 Pro Max, Model # MQ8T3LL/A isacting up.

My wifi connection is showing four bars and 5G.

Been trying to connect to FB and Messenger to no avail.

Rebooted my iPhone and deleted FB apps and re apply Apps still didn’t work and this error showed up:

“Error The operation couldn't be completed. TransientError domain: TigonLigerError-Domain code: 2 detail:AsyncSocketException: connect failed (immediately), type = Socket not open, errno = 65 (No route to host)”

Need further instruction of what I’m missing and what to do next.

Network is working because my mini ipad and my wife iphone are both connected to thesame network with no issue.

Thanks

  • Wi-Fi and Internet over Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi itself is just a wireless way to connect devices like phones, laptops, or smart TVs to a local network. But for that Wi-Fi network to access the internet, it needs a data connection from an Internet Service Provider (ISP). You pay the ISP for an internet plan (like fiber, cable, or DSL), and they provide the data that your Wi-Fi router broadcasts wirelessly. Without an ISP subscription, the Wi-Fi network exists, but there’s no internet — just a local connection between devices.
  • Cellular Internet: For mobile internet (like 4G, 5G), your phone connects directly to cell towers operated by a cellular service provider (like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.). You need a SIM card (or eSIM) and a data plan from that provider to access the internet over the cellular network. Without a data plan, you won’t be able to browse the web, use social media, or stream over mobile data — though you can still connect to Wi-Fi when available.

Both methods require a service provider to supply the data — one through a wired or fiber-optic infrastructure (Wi-Fi via ISP), the other through wireless cellular towers (mobile data via a cellular carrier).

I believe you have to re read my dilemma. FB and Messenger is not accepting my sign in.

My WiFi and internet are working properly on my other apps which also include my Mini iPad and my wife's iPhone. So, there is no issue on either WiFi or internet.

The issue is this error message:

“Error The operation couldn't be completed. TransientError domain: TigonLigerError-Domain code: 2 detail:AsyncSocketException: connect failed (immediately), type = Socket not open, errno = 65 (No route to host)”.

Sorry if I sound sarcastic, but the solution you send to my problem is a little way off and I’m getting frustrated on my end.

I really need your help to fix this problem.

Thanks and again I’m sorry.
