How to disable auto enhancement in iPhone camera settings?

how to turn off the Auto enhancing in camera settings? It makes photos worse. Not satisfied by using this phone because of auto enchantment in camera.

Do the photos look differently in Photos from when you view them in the Camera.app when you are taking them? In that case you may want to disable the Settings > Photos > Show Full HDR. This setting is making the colors more saturated and brings out more detail when viewing the photos in Photos.


For all other settings we can only guess, as long as we do not know which iPhone model and system version you are using.

For the time being, maybe the iPhone user Guide can help. Set it to the system version you are using: Use the Camera Control on iPhone - Apple Support (EG)


if you are using an iPhone 15 or later you may want to check the Settings for Photographic Styles and disable them in the Camera.app. The photographic styles have replaced the Filters in iOS 18. Use Photographic Styles

Another relevant settings are the HDR Settings in the camera. On older camera models we could prevent the iPhone from using Smart HDR. The more recent models are using smart HDR automatically to create more saturated and detailed photos automatically by using Deep Fusion. See: Adjust HDR camera settings

On the recent models we can only prevent the automatic HDR by shooting RAW photos:
