How do I export a .pages file to Word using CloudConvert?

I want to export a .pages file to a Word user. I tried with the .docx option, but the user said it could not be read. I asked GROK for suggestions on what to do and it mentioned CloudConvert. I can't find that file or application.

Any user of Word 2007 or later can read a .docx document and that would be the Pages export to > docx > Send a Copy > Mail. Or, they may be using an antiquated word processing application that simply does not import Word docx.

CloudConvert is a file conversion website. You could also install the free Bean word processing application that can open a Word .docx and then save it as Word .doc. I have been installed and would not recommend unknown web sites for file conversion.

The free LibreOffice Suite can open Word .docx documents and save them as Word .doc too. Probably more robust in its support than Bean.
