How do I connect lightning earbuds to a 3.5mm jack socket?

Hi all, Is there an adaptor to allow me to plug my Lightning connector earpods into a 3.5mm jack socket? I have searched Amazon and can't seem to find any female Lightning to male jack that aren't only for charging and syncing.

I have a laptop with a 3.5mm jack socket and want to use my newer air pods with a lighning male plug. Is there a converter or adaptor that will allow me to plug my ear buds into the laptop?

Unfortunately, Apple’s Lightning EarPods (or any other Lightning-only audio accessories) do not support a simple passive adapter to convert them into a 3.5mm headphone jack. The reason is that Lightning headphones rely on digital audio processing, whereas a 3.5mm jack outputs an analog signal. This means that a basic plug adapter wouldn’t work—you need an active converter that can process the digital-to-analog conversion.
