I want to transfer all photos gallery to macbook and tried go to photos and choose iPhone and click on import all new items but heading me to imports page and not import any thing may be the reason for this problem because the gallery have alot photos and vedios

Really, the best way is to use iCloud to sync your devices. You can get enough storage, maybe $3, to do the transfer, and then cancel, if you like. It may take a few days, and it works best if the Mac and phone are left turned on, plugged in and untouched during a few nights. But you don't have to sit and watch!

I'm not sure why, but when I use Image Capture with my phone, it says I have 2760 pictures. In fact, there are 16734 on the phone.
So, be sure you're getting them all!
