on my older mac how to find folders mail and mail downloads

from the Finder>Go>Go To Folder copy&paste:

Sequoia

~/Library/Mail/V10

Sonoma

~/Library/Mail/V10

Ventura

~/Library/Mail/V10

Monterey—

~/Library/Mail/V9

Big Sur—

~/Library/Mail/V8

You can move the entire V10 folder go back one directory

~/Library/Mail/
