How do I re-enable my Apple Account and request re-enablement for App Store and iTunes?
A few days ago my wife thought she had credit card fraud going on with the card she uses on her phone. Her phone is part of our family plan and it turns out what she thought was fraud was in fact a combination of mistaken TikTok in app purchases by our daughter and an annual renewal for Duolingo... but we found this out after she reported fraud and cancelled her card with the bank! Somehow, she paid for Duolingo last year and that has become the payment method on my account where I am the primary user of the family sharing account.
I've removed her cancelled card from the apple account and added mine, which I did a few days ago.
Now I am trying to update apps on my phone and I am getting 'Your account has been disabled in the app store and itunes' and everything I am reading seems to be telling me to sign into my apple account, but I am signed in.
I can't seem to find anything to help me re-enable my account.
Furthermore, my wife received her new card today and tried adding that to her wallet and her phone can't.
It now turns out that the card I added to the apple account a few days ago wasn't verified, so it asks for the CCV number and then I get a red message saying 'Tap continue to request re-enablement', but there is no continue to tap!!
What's going on? How do I re-enable my apple ID account, and how do I request re-enablement?
This is happening across all devices and across multiple apple accounts that are linked by our family sharing.
What do I need to do to unlock my account/s?
