iPhone screen recording app recommendations with tap pointer and editing options

I am looking for recommendations for a good iPhone screen recording app that would work well for tutorials. I don’t like the built-in screen recorder. I’m looking for one that has a visible cursor/pointer feature that shows where I tap, like a little circle on the screen that moves to where I tap. I tried creating a custom Tap in the iPhone Accessibility settings, but the little round accessibility menu stays on the screen all the time and remains visible in the screen recording. There’s a setting to turn off “Always Show Menu”, but I think this only applies when using a Bluetooth device like a mouse. The app I’m looking for should also have an option for recording my voice as I record the screen, and an option for adding voiceover later. Also it should have a little video editor for trimming and deleting portions of the video. A zoom feature would be nice, too. Maybe a feature to add a camera recoding of myself in the corner, picture-in-picture kind of thing, that I can add in portions of the video. (Yeah, I know, I’m not asking for too much.) So far, I’ve tried “Record it!” and “Go Record”, but neither one has a built in pointer.

What is the specific problem with mirroring your iPhone to your Mac?

For whatever reason, my iMac doesn’t appear in the list of devices when I go into Screen Mirroring on the iPhone. I understand it can be done using a USB cable to connect the iPhone to the iMac. To make a very long story as short as I can, I am disabled and cannot physically get to my iMac. I live in a 3-story townhome, and the iMac is on the 3rd level. I became disabled a few years ago, and was no longer able to go up and down stairs when the iMac was already upstairs. I am confined to the 2nd level. My wife is physically not able to bring the iMac down to the 2nd level. I connect to the iMac using my iPad and an app called TeamViewer. So I connect to the iMac virtually, not physically, and therefore cannot connect my iPhone to it via USB. I am working on finding someone who can move the iMac down to the 2nd level, but then there’s a space problem and where to put it. I have a small desk on the 2nd level, but I don’t think it’s big enough for the iMac, external drives, keyboard and trackpad.

You need to be within Bluetooth distance and Bluetooth must be enabled on both devices for screen mirroring to connect. Might that be the problem?

Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. I’m sure I’m within Bluetooth range, as I can connect a Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth headphones, etc. to the iMac from where I am a floor below. Strange that the mirroring device list on the phone just doesn’t see it. The list of devices on my iPad doesn’t see it either. I appreciate your efforts.
