Family Calendar -Why do we have to OK changes made by others.
Whenever one of us changes or adds an event to our Family shared calendar others must OK the change. How can wr eliminate this step?

Whenever one of us changes or adds an event to our Family shared calendar others must OK the change. How can wr eliminate this step?

You are not giving permission for the change by clicking on 'OK'. Clicking on this is only the mechanism to dismiss the message.
I understand that notifications of changed events in shared calendars can be turned off in iOS by going to:
Settings > Notifications > Calendar > Customise Notifications and turn off Shared Calendar Changes
Notifications also can be changed to be sent by email rather than the in-app alert.
This can be done in the Calendar app at iCloud.com. Sign into your account, click on the Calendar icon, go to the settings wheel, then Account. You will see the two options there.
Emailed alerts will go to your iCloud account address.
