My son has had his Iphone 12 screen fixed by a 3rd party. His battery is now on 80%. It is ok for now but I'm guessing it will need a new battery sooner rather than later.
Does anyone know if an Apple store will replace the battery (obviously me paying) now that it has a 3rd party screen?

Sorry to be blunt, but Apple won't touch the phone if they detect that non-genuine parts have been installed by a unauthorized person who has tampered with the phone.
Your only option is going to be taking the phone to a third party shop to have them install a non-genuine Apple battery. The battery health settings will not likely work correctly with this type of battery. They will with a genuine Apple replacement battery.

You can ask, but don’t hold your breath. Best case scenario is they would require you to pay for both a battery and screen replacement if they agree to service it at all.
Thank you - it’s an iphone 12 so i think my son will want to upgrade in a couple of years anyway. Might wait until the battery definitely needs changing and go to a 3rd party.
