troubleshoot here If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If the messages aren’t sending try resetting your device, like turn it off and wait a while. Or maybe the person your texting has a device that is dead or not connected to wifi.🤷🏼‍♀️
