Out of storage and getting kicked off any application I'm using

My 14+ iPhone is kicking me off almost every other day for the last maybe four months I try to get back in and they won't allow me I get a message that my storage is full to either manager or purchase more storage so I purchased 2 terabytes but I guess I'm not doing it right because my Storage on phone continues to be full. When I get kicked off the only way that my phone will work again is if I reboot it I sometimes have to reboot the stupid thing about four times a day what can I do?

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 18

You need to reduce the storage on your device. Phone Storage and iCloud Storage are 2 different things.

Using iCloud can help relieve some storage pressure on your device when using Optimized Storage for Photos, but it surely is not an extension of your device storage. This will save smaller thumbnail size photos on the device and keep the high quality photos in iCloud until they are needed.

With the photos. What is taking up most of my space is Applications so basically to do this last update I had to delete not delete but take basically all of my applications off the phone and leave them in the background just so that I could do the update I have a lot of movie applications and I'm also using my phone to do a paperless logbook and I think that's what's eating up my space but I'm not sure

You need device storage to hold apps. iCloud storage (on Apple's servers) won't do.

You can "offload" an app (deleting an app without deleting its associated data), but then you will not be able to use it again until you re-download it from the App Store into device storage. Should the app disappear from the App Store while "offloaded", you would not be able to get it back, period.
