How do I check repair history or replaced parts for a type N iPhone?

Hello, I have a Type N iPhone, and I’d like to know if any components were replaced during the refurbishment process. Can you provide details about what was replaced? Is there a way to check the repair history or replaced parts for my Type N iPhone?

N simply means that the iPhone came from the replacement phone inventory. There is no way to find out if it is new or refurbished.

If refurbished, there is no published record kept of what was replaced, although usually it is the motherboard and the battery. It is then manually tested, rather than spot checked as new phones are. So an Apple refurb will have a better chance of working when you receive it than a new iPhone.
