Replacing iPhone 17 with manufacturing defects under warranty

If the first/starting batch of iphone 17 comes with any type of manufacturing defects/issues will it get replaced under warranty without getting apple care.

Of course it would. That's what a one year Manufacturers Warranty is for. But I would give serious consideration to adding an AppleCare+ plan to the phone. It covers things like accidental damage and lost or stolen phones, which the standard one year AppleCare plan doesn't cover.

You are asking a very broad question. A "manufacturing defect" is one thing and would be pretty obvious. An "issue" is another thing.


For example, what if you don't like the battery performance? Apple won't replace the phone or battery unless it falls below 80% Maximum Capacity in the first year of operation.


Or, what if you think the phone is "overheating"....and Apple says it is not?


We see "issues" all the time on this support site. That doesn't mean that the iPhone will be automatically replaced by Apple.
