How do I stop receiving blank emails from Android users in Messages app?

When getting a text from an android user, I also get a blank email from that user in text as well

Text message defaults to email, not Android phone number With most of my text messages, I begin writing the message recipient’s name & the message automatically directs to their mobile number. However, every so often it defaults to their email address only, even though I have both in their contact listing. Ask that user to stop sending unwanted emails, or block them.
