How do I optimize 5k monitor resolution for readability in radiology work on iMac?

Hi I am working as a radiologist and using imac which is 4,2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, Radeon Pro 580 8 GB and 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 configuration on 5k 27 inch monitor. I want use 5k resolution, but when I chose, all the letters get smaller and I am not able to read them. Thats why working with 4k resolution but I am not happy while I am reporting MRI scans. How can I have best settings on my monitor.

The best setting in terms of image quality would be Retina “like 2560x1440” mode. Text and objects would be sized as if you were using a 27” 2560x1440 pixel monitor, while Retina-aware applications would draw things at a 5120x2880 pixel level of detail.
